This is a hidden gem in the Gainesville area. There is a short nature trail that skirts around the edge of the sinkhole, and a nicely maintained boardwalk that takes visitors down to the bottom of the sinkhole where one can view many different types of vegetation, limestone formations, small springs and even waterfalls. A great side trip while exploring many of the other outdoor opportunities in the Gainesville area.
