Fishing
One of the few beaches in Florida that still allows beach driving, Amelia Island State Park offers convenient inlet and beach access to Florida surf fisherman. We visited this stretch of beach while camping at nearby Little Talbot Island State Park, and had a great day fishing the tranquil waters inside the inlet during the fall mullet run. The beach is about as natural as it gets, and with the high tides and abundance of fine white sand a four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended.
